Little Jesus Sightings!
For the past year at St. Paul’s we have been celebrating the daily gift of Emmanuel—God With Us! As people of faith, we believe that God is actively at work in the world and in our lives. Whether we are at work, at school, at the grocery store, or on the farm, we can spot glimpses of Jesus in ways both big and small. To remind us of God’s presence with us each day, we have been sharing “Little Jesus” figurines and sharing pictures and stories of where Little Jesus is showing up around us.
Over the past year we have distributed more than 600 of these “Little Jesus” figurines throughout the community, and Little Jesus has been spotted around town, in school, traveling around the country, and even outside of the United States!
Through “Little Jesus” we are reminded that God goes with us wherever we go, and we get to share God’s light and love with others along the way. Thanks be to God!
We still have plenty of Little Jesus friends to share, so if you or someone you know would enjoy a Little Jesus be sure to stop by the church office and pick one up!

Let’s Have a Pool Party!
Our annual community picnic and pool party is returning on June 28th at the Falls City Aquatic Center! We will have free hotdogs and chips beginning at 7pm, with free open swimming from 8-10pm. This event is free and open to all, so be sure to come on out and invite your neighbors too!
We Are Worshipping at the Falls City Care Center on June 21st!
We will be worshipping with our friends and neighbors at the Falls City Care Center (28th & Towle) on Sunday, June 21st, at 10am! Everyone is welcome in the dining hall at the care center for worship with treats and time to visit following the service. Hope to see you there!
Vacation Bible School Coming Soon June 8-12th!
Vacation Bible School is headed to the jungle in June with Rainforest Falls: Exploring the Nature of God. Students aged K-5th grade will hear Bible stories, play games, and do fun experiments as they explore God’s creation. Pick up a registration form at church or download a form and email it to stpauls@sentco.net.
Loving God & Loving Others in 2026!
We served 250 bowls of soup at our annual soup supper in January!
Our Sunday School Easter celebration included an egg hunt, crafts, and other fun activities. He is Risen!
Our confirmation students packed meal kits to put in the community Little Free Pantry.
Some of our older Sunday School students made water purification kits to help provide clean water to people around the world.
We hosted a bingo and ice cream party with our friends at the Falls City Care Center!
St. Paul’s was the host church for the Women of the ELCA Spring Gathering in March, complete with worship, Bible Study, and a van full of baby items to support local families in our community.
Having Fun & Making a Difference in 2025!
In March our Sunday School families put together 50 care packages for residents at the Falls City Care Center!
Celebrating Stewardship and our ministry partners through the Nebraska Synod with a visit from Deacon Timothy Siburg in March.
Celebrating Easter with our Easter breakfast, easter egg hunt, and worship. He is Risen, Alleluia!
We celebrated a joint worship service with our neighbors at the Falls City Care Center!

We hosted our annual fall benefit supper to support a local family in our community.
We had 38 children and 17 volunteers for Vacation Bible School—True North: Trusting Jesus in a Wild World!
Feeding our local community with our Food Pantry Sunday the first Sunday of each month!
In June we hosted our annual community picnic and pool party at the Falls City Aquatic Center!
We celebrated our first-ever Christmas in July, complete with a summer tree and a live nativity!
We had fun playing games and exploring Bible stories at Family Sunday School in October!
We had a blast hosting ice cream and bingo at the Falls City Care Center in August.
For God’s Work Our Hands in September, we packaged and delivered 50 goodie bags for residents at the Falls City Care and Rehab.
